Hi! I’m Andrea.

I’m a music director and voice teacher with a passion for understanding how things work and how we experience the world. I was the music director of The Band’s Visit and Tootsie on Broadway, and I’ve taught voice at New York Vocal Coaching for five years. I’m also training to be an Alexander Technique teacher. I love teaching musicianship, a holistic combination of music theory, performance, composition, and appreciation, inspired by the curriculum at the Walden School in Dublin, NH. My current pet project, which you’ll be able to read more about on this site, is about the unique ways that musical rhythm and language interact in song.
